  • AI planning inputs, including the text you enter, answers you choose or type during clarification, and the resulting generated plan when you accept it.
  • Basic device context used to improve planning relevance, such as app language, region, timezone, and inferred local currency.
  • App usage information, such as feature interactions, subscription status, device type, and basic diagnostic data.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and server logs when you visit the website.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide and improve Actionly’s planning, scheduling, and task features.
  • To generate AI-assisted plans and clarification questions.
  • To classify planning requests and adapt suggestions to language, region, timezone, and local currency context.
  • To sync or restore data if account and sync features are enabled.
  • To protect the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
  • To communicate service updates or respond to support requests.

4. AI Processing

Actionly uses server-side AI processing to classify requests, generate clarification questions, create structured goals, and generate or simplify plans. The mobile app does not contact AI providers directly.

Before AI processing starts, the app asks for your permission and explains what will be sent. If you do not continue, no AI request is sent.

When you use AI planning, Actionly sends the text you enter, your clarification answers, the goal or plan being refined, and basic device context such as language, region, timezone, and local currency to Actionly servers. Actionly servers may then share this information with OpenAI, our third-party AI service provider, only to provide the requested AI planning functionality.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information, such as health, financial, government ID, password, or other highly confidential information, into AI planning prompts.

5. Local Storage and Sync

Actionly may store task and goal data on your device. If sync or account features are enabled, selected data may also be stored on our servers so your information can be backed up or restored.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use essential cookies or similar technologies for security, performance, and basic functionality. We do not use them to sell your personal information.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Actionly, including hosting, authentication, email delivery, subscription management, diagnostics, and AI processing providers.

For AI planning, we share the AI planning inputs described above with OpenAI only as needed to classify requests, generate clarification questions, and create or simplify plans. We require service providers to protect information with appropriate safeguards and to process it only for the services they provide to Actionly.

We may also disclose information to authorities when required by law or to a successor entity if Actionly is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

8. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

9. Your Choices

  • You may update or delete tasks and goals inside the app where supported.
  • You may request account deletion or data access by contacting us.
  • You may disable notifications or app permissions through your device settings.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Actionly is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws.
